I was RAISED IN West Philadelphia.

Besides way too much homework, my day consists of taking selfies, making YouTube videos, looking for scholarships and starting my own t-shirt line. Over the years, the UNIQUELY YOU SUMMIT has taught me not to be ashamed of the color of  my skin, or of who I am. And it has taught me to be a confident and strong UNAPOLOGETIC black woman.

I define #FORTHELOVEOFBLACKGIRLS as loving and appreciating black girls for who they are.

I feel most brave when I am comfortable.  Beautiful when I can be myself, and brilliant when I'm adventurous.  If I could tell black girls one secret, it would be, "your MELANIN pops, severely - girl you slay!  And we need to be for each other, and NOT against one another."  And if I could change ONE STEREOTYPE about black girls, it would be, "we all have daddy issues."

My GREATEST INFLUENCE is MY MOM.

But my #BlackGirlInspirations are Solange Knowles and Teyonah Parris!  Right now, I'm reading "The Truth About Him" by M. O'Keefe.

I will use my COVER GIRL PLATFORM to inspire other black girls like me to speak with confidence; to be brave; and to reach for the stars.

And I will use this platform in service to love and advocate for other black girls just like me, because we are worth it.
