I was RAISED IN Philadelphia, PA.

Besides way too much homework, my day consists of eating good food and enjoying life with friends.  Over the years, UNIQUELY YOU SUMMIT has taught me that it is okay to celebrate your uniqueness.

I define #FORTHELOVEOFBLACKGIRLS as empowering black girls out of love and respect for them.

I am most brave when I speak my mind.  Beautiful when I wake up everyday, and brilliant when I critically think.  If I could tell black girls one secret, it would be, "to embrace your difference and love yourself or no one else will.  Being black is not a burden unless you make it."  And if I could change ONE STEREOTYPE about black girls, it would be, "Black women are less capable of being successful."

MY GREATEST INFLUENCE is successful, happy, and strong women in my community.

But my #BlackGirlInspiration is Dr. Suad Islam.  Right now I'm reading, "Disgruntled" by Asali Solomon.

I will use my COVER GIRL PLATFORM to represent the UNIQUELY YOU Organization.

And I will use my platform in service inspire black girls.
