FREQUENTLY ASKED CAMP QUESTIONS
Q. If I Pre-Registered my daughter (granddaughter, Goddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend or other), do I need to complete Registration, again?
Pre-registered families do not need to REGISTER their girls again. All girls who were pre-registered have already been added to the OFFICIAL Summer Camp roster.
Q. If my daughter (granddaughter, Goddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend or other) cannot attend Orientation due to prior obligations, will her spot be forfeited?
We understand that Summertime is a busy time for families. Our plan is to email the Orientation video to each family that cannot attend the live Orientation, and trust that at least one guardian has watched the full video prior to the start of Camp.
Q. Will my daughter (granddaughter, Goddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend or other) need to operate the stove each day of Camp?
No. Our Sweet Joy Lab will take place on Tuesdays and our Joy for Her Belly (Cooking) Lab will happen on Thursdays. Each Lab will happen from 12 Noon until approximately 1:30 PM EST, and it is our intention to only require the stove oven during the Baking sessions.
Q. What if my daughter (granddaughter, Goddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend or other) is unable to attend one or more days of Camp?
If she is already registered (or pre-registered) for Camp, please be sure to send us an email to let us know what days your girl will be missing.
If she is NOT already registered for Camp, there is no prorated rate for girls who will need to miss a day or days from Summer Camp. The registration fee of $50 covers the cost of ALL materials and activities girls will need to participate in Camp, and since all registered girls will receive a Camp Kit, the registration fee remains the same.
Q. What if my daughter (granddaughter, Goddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend or other) needs a size larger than unisex adult XL tee?
Please email our team at registration@uniquelyyousummit.org with her name and the appropriate size. All tee sizes have a unisex fit.
Q. IS THERE CAMP SPONSORSHIP AVAILABLE TO GIRLS WHOSE FAMILIES NEED IT?
Yes.
WHO CAN REQUEST INDIVIDUAL SPONSORSHIP?
Families of middle school-aged girls (as well as rising 9th graders) nationwide who are currently facing financial challenges and need some support.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO HAVE A CAMP SPONSOR?
It means that the entire cost of Summer Camp 2022 has been covered for her.
WHERE IS SUMMER CAMP HAPPENING?
Virtually/Online. (All applicable links will be emailed to all participating registrants and their parent/guardians no later than the Thursday before Summer Camp starts).
