DUE TO THE INFLUX OF SUMMER CAMP-SIGN UPS, SIGNED CONTRACTs ARE NOW DUE WITHIN 72 HOURS OF RECEIPT. Contracts will be sent out on Wednesday, june 15.
(If we do not have the signed contract within the 72-hour deadline, your spot will be forfeited.)
SUMMER CAMPERS ARE REQUIRED:
To be middle school girls (6th - 9th grade). Summer Camp is for middle school girls (as well as girls headed to 9th grade) only.
To attend BOTH weeks of Summer Camp (Monday, July 18 - Thursday, July 28).
To attend ALL daily Summer Camp Labs during the two weeks on Monday through Thursday.
To attend ALL Summer GXC Sessions held each morning. Girls without an authorized excuse from camp administration will not be able to participate in the day’s labs.
To communicate with “Lab Support” when/if they are unable to attend their Summer Camp Labs during the week.
To be punctual & meet all the participation expectations of the Summer Camp.
To attend Summer Camp Orientation (with parents/caregivers) on Tuesday, July 12 at 6:15 PM EST.
To complete and sign the Summer Camp Contract. This is required for both campers and parent/caregivers. Electronic form will be emailed upon confirmation of participation.
CAMPERS SHOULD KNOW:
Orientation participation is mandatory (on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at 6:15 PM EST) and a prerequisite for Summer Camp enrollment. No exceptions.
Campers who miss multiple camp days without providing prior justifiable communication or reasonable explanation will be removed from the Camp. No exceptions. Attending at one’s leisure demonstrates a lack of commitment.
Disrespect of any kind/sort will NOT be tolerated and student(s) will be removed expeditiously. And will be banned from the Camp/UYSA indefinitely. (Parent/Caregiver will notified via email as for the reason for removal).
PARENTAL/CAREGIVER CONSENT:
PHOTOGRAPHY RIGHTS & PERMISSION: I understand that during the Summer Camp, my child's/children's photo and/or video likeness may be taken, and I hereby give my consent to use such photo or video in conjunction with promotional use or media coverage. Moreover, I hereby give my consent.
DISCLAIMER: I understand that the Directors of the UYS ACADEMY/Summer Camp reserve the right to change, cancel, or modify the Camp’s schedule at any time. I also understand that the organization reserves the right to WITHDRAW any girl whose conduct is deemed disruptive and/or harmful to instructors, guests, peers, speakers, or volunteers.
ACKNOWLEDGED CONSENT BY PARENT / GUARDIAN: I acknowledge that I have read, consented to, and understand ALL of the disclaimers stated. I give my permission for the minor(s) in my care to engage in all Labs and all other programming for the duration of the Summer Camp Cycle.
ALL SUMMER CAMPERS WILL RECEIVE UPON COMPLETION:
A certificate of recognition when participation expectations for completion of Summer Camp have been met.
